In a significant achievement for the academic community, PhD student Caroline has recently published her groundbreaking research in Engineering, Technology & Applied Science Research. This noteworthy contribution sheds light on the pressing issue of vehicle-induced air pollution and offers insights into predicting and mitigating its effects using advanced machine learning models.
Research Title: Prediction of Vehicle-induced Air Pollution based on Advanced Machine Learning Models
In a pioneering initiative to bridge the gap between academia and industry, Eng. Elijah Ochieng, a distinguished BIM Specialist and Professional Engineer from Civistruct Integrated Ltd, took the stage at the Civil Engineering Lecture Theatre (CELT) in the Department of Civil & Construction Engineering, University of Nairobi. The guest lecture, facilitated by Eng. Muthomi Munyua and graced by the Chairman, Eng. Simpson Osano, provided fourth-year students with a deep dive into the transformative world of Building Information Modelling (BIM).
