The Gandhi Smarak Nidhi Fund Scholarship Application is Opened

From 10 July 2025, the Gandhi Smarak Nidhi Fund (GSNF) will offer a limited number of partial scholarships tenable at the University of Nairobi for master’s programmes during the 2025/2026 academic year.  Interested candidates are invited to apply or reapply for renewal of the scholarship through our online application portal (https://gandhi.uonbi.ac.ke) from Monday, 7 July 2025.

Engineers Board of Kenya Engages University of Nairobi in Efforts to Align Bachelor’s Programme with Washington Accord Standards

On 9 July 2025, in a significant step towards enhancing engineering education in Kenya, the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) held a consultative meeting with staff from the Department of Civil & Construction Engineering, University of Nairobi, aimed at aligning the department’s Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering programme with the international standards set by the Washington Accord.
