COMPARISON OF MECHANICAL PROPERTIES BETWEEN RECYCLED CONCRETE AGGREGATE AND RECYCLED BRICK AGGREGATE IN CONCRETE PRODUCTION

The problem in the study is that climate change is of concern to all humans, all over the world. Climate change is directly linked to release of greenhouse gasses (CO2). Kenya is a developing country which relies mostly on green energy, thus most of the emissions that occur are due to development of the majorly rural areas into urban centres. This development necessitates the use of concrete, as it is cheap, readily available, and easy to work with. However, it has a huge impact on the environment because of the release of greenhouse gasses and exploitation of our natural resources.

A STUDY ON ROAD SAFETY

Each year, an estimated 1.35 million people are killed on the worlds’ roads, and a further 50 million are injured, with the vast majority of these (over 90 percent) occurring in LMICs. There is an upward trend in road crash fatalities and injuries, causing human suffering, grief, and loss, and retarding the economic growth of LMICs.
