The main objectives of this study were to study road maintenance system by Kenya Urban Roads
Authority, Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) and Kenya National Highway Authority in
Homa Bay County, Identify the common problems facing road maintenance and finally come up
with recommendations on how to improve road maintenance based on the identified challenges.
