Chairman CCE Dr. Osano gave his welcoming address on Friday 23/09/2021 during the first year 2021 orientation exercise that took place at civil engineering lecture theatre (CELT). In his remarks Dr. Osano gave a small history of evolution of this field of civil engineering. He explained to the students on what the y expect as they start the new chapter in Engineering life. He also  elaborated to the students how the civil engineering is divide into wet and dry area at the university of Nairobi. The chairman told the students that due to COVID 19 pandemic the program will be blended meaning it will be partly online and partly face to face. he advised the to startt working very hard from the start and they make it.
