Phelix Odero, a fourth-year student from the Department of Civil & Construction Engineering, makes a presentation on timber design on a webinar organised by the Architectural Association of Kenya - Engineer's Chapter. Phelix Odero works part-time as a Technical Sales Representative (East Africa Region) at Rothoblaas Company. Other speakers in the webinar are: Andrew Lawrence who is a Director and a Fellow at Arup and the UK representative on the European Timber Design Code Committee; Arch. George Wekesa, who is the Timber Lead at Build X. Arch. Wekesa is an alumni of the University of Nairobi, Class of 2017.
