This is to inform all graduate students that the academic process is now organized around the Faculty of Engineering and the Department of Civil & Construction Engineering. 

Consequently, the following functions shall now be managed by the faculties: registration; approval of proposals; allocation of supervisors; notification of intent of thesis submission; oral defence; submission of the final version of the thesis; assessment of similarity index; confirmation of the credibility of journals and clearance. Thesis submission and all related documentation and correspondence should be submitted to the Executive Dean of the Faculty of Engineering.

The letters of award to candidates approved by the Senate shall now be issued by the Associate Vice-Chancellor , Academic Affairs.

Following the placement of Module I student by KUCCPS, the Senate has reviewed the opening dates for the academic year 2021/2022. First-year students (Undergraduate and Postgraduate) reporting date has been set to 20th September 2021. Continuing students will report on 27th September 2021. 

The graduation date for the 2020/2021 Academic Year has been scheduled for 24th September 2021. 

The opening date for the 2021/2022 academic year has been postponed from 6th September 2021 to 4th October 2021.
