The Department of Civil & Construction Engineering at the University of Nairobi is proud to announce a significant step forward in our efforts to promote collaboration and knowledge exchange within the civil engineering community. On Wednesday, 20th March 2024, the Chairman of the department had the privilege of meeting with the Chief Executive Officer of the National Construction Authority (NCA) to discuss a potential partnership for an upcoming Civil Engineering Conference. 

Fostering Collaboration for the Civil Engineering Conference:

The meeting between the Chairman of the Department of Civil & Construction Engineering and the CEO of NCA was a pivotal moment in our efforts to organize a successful Civil Engineering Conference. The conference, hosted by our department, aims to bring together professionals, researchers, academics, and students to exchange ideas, share best practices, and explore innovations in the field of civil engineering.

During the meeting, NCA expressed keen interest in collaborating with the department and contributing to the success of the Civil Engineering Conference. Recognizing the importance of such gatherings in advancing the civil engineering profession, NCA agreed to partner with the department and provide partial sponsorship for the conference.
