University of Nairobi have signed a collaborative agreement with Kenya national highways authority, the area of collaboration are:

1. Conduct joint research and publication within ares of study mutually agreed
2. Develop joint proposal for solicitation of funding
3. Exchange data both written and electronic
4. Use each other facility with prior notice and convenience and availability
5. Exchange expert personnel in area of mutual interest
6. Jointly organize scientific meetings such as ;seminars, conferences and colloquia

The vice chancellor Prof. Stephen G. Kiama signed the agreement on behave of the university
